    Zumobi Rolls Out Beta

Seattle-based Zumobi said this morning that it has rolled out a beta of its mobile widgets service. The firm, which is venture backed by Hunt Ventures and Oak Investment Partners, said that it now allows widgets featuring content from a number of partners to be downloaded from its site; the widgets feature content from Amazon.com, MTV Networks, The Associated Press, AccuWeather.com, and other companies. Zumobi, which was formerly known as ZenZui, said that its mobile phone widget service works on Windows Mobile phones, and will have J2ME compatibility in Q2 of 2008.
