Zumobi Upgrades Mobile App
Seattle-based Zumobi has upgraded the firm's mobile application, saying late Wednesday that it has released its newest Windows Mobile software. According to Zumobi, it has added a tool which allows users to create their own mobile widgets, called Tile Wizard. The tool allows users to use RSS feeds, blogs, and other Web content into widgets which can be stream data onto their mobile phones. The firm also said that it has streamlined its client for faster downloads and for a smaller on-phone footprint. Zumobi is venture backed by Hunt Ventures and Oak Investment Partners, and is a spinout of Microsoft.
