Rentrak Names New CEO

Portland, Ore.-based media measurement and research firm Rentrak reported Wednesday that it has hired Bill Livek as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Rentrak said Livek, who was also named to the company's board as a director, succeeds Paul Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum had served as CEO and chairman since September 2000 and will remain chairman, Rentrak noted. The company said Livek previously worked for Experian Marketing Services, most recently as co-president of its Research Services business. He also was co-chair and director of the Simmons Market Research Bureau, Rentrak added.
