Sarcos Robotics Adds Retired General To Military Advisory Board

Sarcos Robotics has boosted the company's ranks of military advisors, saying today that it has added retired United States Army General George William Casey Jr. to its advisory board. The company, which has offices in Bellevue, is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Casey is also former U.S. Army Chief of Staff. Sarcos is commercializing robotics products for the military, including many reminiscent of those from the movie "Iron Man". Sarcos is venture backed by Caterpillar, GE Ventures, Microsoft, and Schlumberger.
