Trover In Major Redesign Of Travel Site

Seattle-based travel and photography service Trover, which is backed by General Catalyst Partners, Ignition Partners and Benchmark Capital, has launched a major redesign of its website. The firm launched a new site Wednesday, taking inspiration from Pinterest, with a new interface which allows users to view and create their own collections of photos from their favorite places. The new site centers on a tiled page of photos--with ability to "heart" those photos, add comments, and more--based on location or interest. The new website interface is highly reminiscent of the pinning and collections-based interface of Pinterest. Trover is headed by Jason Karas.
