Urbanspoon Revamps iPhone App

Seattle-based Urbanspoon, the mobile restaurant discovery and reservation app and service owned by CityGrid media, said today that it has launched a newly designed iPhone app. The firm said the new app provides a brand new user interface, a more comprehensive view of restaurants, user photos, and more. The company also said it has linked with the James Beard Foundation and content from the Eater and the Village Voice, allowing users to filter out restaurant picks from those publications. New features also include mapping of restaurants by cuisine, wish lists, and other features.
