Amazon Adds More Fire TV Content

Seattle-based Amazon.com said Thursday that it has added more than 1,000 channels, apps, and games to its Fire TV devices in September, including the addition of NBC, NBC Sports, Watch HGTV, Watch Food Network, Watch Travel Channel, Fox Now, NPR One, and GoPro. Amazon says it now has a combined 4,000 channels, apps, and games running on Fire TV. The company--as is typical for the company--did not break down how many of each category are now present on the device, making it difficult to tell exactly where the growth in content was for Amazon.
