Amazon Axes Amazon Fresh Across Multiple Markets

In a surprising move, given Amazon's recent acquisition of Whole Foods, Amazon is shutting down access to its grocery delivery service, Amazon Fresh, across a swath of the United States. Visitors to Amazon Fresh have been reporting that the service will no longer be available in their areas after December 1st. Amazon did not announce the reason for the pullback in ser‪vices, but had said that it will continue to run the service--primarily in larger cities.
