Amazon.com Buys comiXology

Seattle-based Amazon.com said late Thursday that it has agreed to acquire comiXology, a company developing apps for reading comic books and graphic novels. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. comiXology was based in New York City. According to the two, they will the buy to bring comics and graphic novels to "even more" readers. comiXology will remain headquartered in New York.
