Amazon Launches Kindle In Mexico

Seattle-based Amazon.com has launched its Kindle Store into Mexico this morning, the latest language- and country-specific launch of the Kindle e-book store. According to Amazon, its new Mexican Kindle Store provides over 70,000 books in Spanish, including 1,500 free books. Amazon also said the new store will feature titles in Nahuatl and other Mexican indigenous languages from the Instituto Nacional de Lenguas Indigenas. The launch also includes the launch of the Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite through Mexican retailer Gandhi Stores.
