Amazon, Madrona Invest In Animoto

Seattle-based Madrona Venture Group has led an investment into New York-based Animoto, a developer of a web-based, video creation service. According to Animoto, it raised $4.4M in funding, from Madrona, Jeff Clavier's SoftTech VC, and iStockphoto founder Bruce Livingstone, and Amazon.com. Aminoto's service allows consumers and others to create videos with their own photo and music; Amazon invested in Animoto in May of last year. More information »
