Amazon's Bezos Buys The Washington Post

Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos is the proud new owner of The Washington Post, the newspaper announced Monday afternoon, in a surprise move. According to The Post, Bezos paid $250M in cash for The post and its affiliated publications. Amazon.com will not have any involvement in the purchase of The Washington Post, with Bezos becoming sole owner of the venerable newspaper.
