APCON, Calient Partner On Lab Automation

Wilsonville, Oregon-based APCON, a provider of physical switches and lab automation software, said today it has partnered with Calient Networks to offer a single management platform. The firms will provide an integrated solution for lab testing and automation using APCON's software, opto-electronic switches, and Calient's all-optical switches. APCON's TITAN software will manage switches from both manufacturers. APCON's equipment is used to manage the wiring of optical networks, and is heavily used by networking equipment manufacturers to create and maintain lab testbenches and configuration management.
