AppFog Being Acquired By Savvis, Says Report

Portland-based AppFog, which develops Platform-as-a-Service software, is being acquired by data center operator Savvis. The acquisition, according to multiple reports Thursday, is expected to be announced Monday. Details on the acquisition have not yet been announced. AppFog is backed by Ignition Partners, Madrona Venture Group, First Round Capital, and the Founders Co-Op, along with angels.
