Avure Technologies Sold To Milestone Partners

Kent, Washington-based Avure Technologies, a developer of high pressure, processing equipment used for metal forming and pasteurization systems, said today that the firm has been sold to investment firm Milestone Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Avure Technologies was owned by The Gores Group, which acquired Avure in October of 2005. Avure's isostatic pressing processing equipment is used in the aerospace, military, and advanced medical market; the company also provides high pressure systems used to pasteurize foods. Avure Technologies was advised by Lazard Middle Market in the sale.
