Azaleos Wins CDC

Seattle-based Azaleos, which provides remote management of Microsoft Exchange and other Microsoft tools, said today that it has been selected by the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Azaleos said it will migrate the CDC's approximately 20,000 email users from Microsoft Exchange 2003 to microsoft Exchange 2010, and also provide day-to-day administration of the software. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Azaleos said the deployment will be one of the largest Exchange 2010 environment outside of the Microsoft Exchange TAP (Technical Adoption Program) and Microsoft itself. Azaleos is headed by Phil Van Etten.
