Bing Adds Windows Help To Search

Bing, the search engine owned by Microsoft, is rolling out some new search features today--specifically aimed at users of the new Windows 8.1 operating system. According to Bing, its new touch-driven, smart search features are designed to help users find documents on their PC, photos in the cloud, apps, and more. The company said that it is looking to help users trying to get things done on a device--aren't exactly sure what they are looking for. The search engine said it has created a set of the most common tasks people are trying to perform on Windows 8. The new features come as there has been creating a lot of user confusion as Microsoft has radically changed its interface--removing the well known "Start" button, adding a new icon tray, and other features that had not been found in its old operating systems.
