Bing Debuts Windows 8 App

Bing, the search engine site owned by Microsoft, has--to no great surprise--debuted a highly integrated app for the new Windows 8 operating system. Bing said yesterday that its new Bing app for Windows 8 allows users to search via the operating system in a visual experience, pulling up instant results in the new OS and taking advantage of such features as using finger swipes to navigate through results. The new app also works with six "Bing-powered" apps about specific topics also included in Windows 8, including maps, news, finance, sports, and travel.
