Bing Sees Downtime

Microsoft's search site, Bing, was down for about a half an hour Thursday evening, due to a configuration issue with the site. Among widespread reports of inability to access the site, Bing reported that its site went down between 6:30 and 7:00 P.M., due to a configuration change on the site. The firm reported the changes--done during some internal testing--resulted in users being unable to get to the site, or queries returning with incomplete results pages.
