Bing Updates Windows Phone 8 App

Bing said this morning that it is updated its Windows Phone 8 app, to match the updates the company already made for Android and iOS. According to Bing, the new update includes a streamlined Bing interface, a new look, a slimming down of categories, and more. According to Bing, the move helps people better user the app and simplifies access. Bing now provides web, image, and video searches, rather than its prior breakdown between web, local, media, and shopping. The link also includes better results for certain websites, such as airlines, where the firm is providing flight status, flight tracking, and schedule information.
