Bright.md Raises $8M

Portland-based Bright.md, a developer of a virtual patient visit tool for the healthcare industry, has raised $8M in a Series B funding, the company announced on Monday. The funding was led by B Capital Group, and also included Seven Peaks Ventures. Bright.md's lead product is SmartExam, software which is used to interview patients and gather more information on those patients using a mobile phone or computer.
