Buck Takes On Social Shopping

Buck, a new social shopping service, has launched out of what was Seattle's Billing Revolution, saying today that it has launched a curated, social shopping platform to help consuemrs discover, share, and buy products. Buck's site takes a cue from the popular Pinterest "pinning" site and lets store owners post photos of their products, which users can vote up, comment on, love, and interact with visually. Buck said the service lets media companies monetize their audiences, and will also help merchants gain a broader channel for distribution. Part of the service lets bloggers, brands, and others create their own, dedicated shops which lets them sell products from other merchants.
