Carena Acquired By Avizia

Seattle-based virtual healthcare provider Carena has been acquired by telehealth provider Avizia, according to the companies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Carena, which was founded in 2000, was venture backed by Cambia Health Solutions, McKesson Ventures, Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Martin Ventures. Avizia is also venture funded, having raised $20M from such companies as HealthQuest, Northwell Health and NewYork-Presbyterian.
