Cloudability Lands $8.7M

Portland-based Cloudability, which operates an online service which monitors cloud spending for companies, said this morning that it has raised $8.7M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Foundry Group. As part of the funding, Jason Mendelson and Jason Seats have joined the company's board. Cloudability's service is used by developers to monitor how much they are spending on cloud services like Amazon; the firm launched its beta back in November. The company said it now has 15 employees, and will use the funding to hire more. More information »
