CyberTraining 365 Aims To Help Veterans Learn Cybersecurity Skills

Redmond-based online cybersecurity training provider CyberTraining 365 said this morning that it is aiming to help military veterans fill gaps in the cybersecurity workforce, through a link with nonprofit Operation Code. CyberTraining 365 said it will offer up 100 seats of its subscription-based, cyberseurity courses to veterans and members of the Operation Code community for free. The training provider cited veterans' experience working in teams, handling of high-pressure environments, plus the many veterans with security clerances and a "unique perspective" on the cultural foundations of the field. Operation Code is a non-profit whose mission is to aid military, vets and their families learn coding and web technologies.
