DNS.com Acquired By Comodo

Portland-based DNS.com, a provider of domain name service and Internet security services, has been acquired by New Jersey-based Comodo, Comodo said Thursday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Dan Kimball, the former CEO of DNS.com, will join Comodo as part of the acuqisition. DNS.com provides secure domain name system (DNS) serviecs to enterprises. Comodo is a provider of security tools for the enterprise market.
