EagleView Technologies Acquired For $650M

Bothell-based EagleView Technology Corporation, which develops aerial image capture and data analysis software, has been acquired for $650M by Verisk Analytics, Verisk announced Thursday. Eagle View is the parent company of both Pictometry International and Eagle View Technologies. Eagle View was split between Rochester, New York and Bothell, Washington, and was the result of a merger of Pictometry and Eagle View Technologies back in January of 2013. Eagle View's technology is used for image processing of aerial images, to determine square footage of commercial buildings remotely.
