EED Enhances Discovery Tools

Kirkland, Washington-based Electric Evidence Discovery, a developer of e-discovery software, said this morning that it has added a new service tied to its tools. According to the firm, its new Early Case Assessment (ECA) service will help lower eDiscovery costs during litigation; the firm said the service will help legal teams identify custodians, locate data, and determine how much data a case involves, to better prepare litigation teams before pre-trial meetings. EED's tools are used for e-discovery, the mining of data storage for relevant evidence in legal cases.
