EndoGastric Gets $32M C Funding

Redmond, Washington-based EndoGastric Solutions said today that it has received $32M in a Series C funding. The firm said that the funding was led by Chicago Growth Partners, and included participation by existing investors MPM Capital, Advanced Technology Ventures, Foundation Medical Partners. Oakwood Medical Investors, a new investor, also particpated. EndoGastric solutions is developing a medical device for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The company has completed Phase 1 feasability studies and is in Phase 2 trials. EndoGastric was formerly known as EsophyX, and has now raised $49.0M in venture capital. More information »
