Expedia Buys Australian Online Travel Provider Wotif Group

Bellevue-based Expedia has acquired Australian travel site Wotif Group, in a deal worth $658M, the companies said Monday. Wotif operates a network of travel sites, including Wotif.com, Lastminute.com.au, LateStays.com, Travel.com.au, and others. Expedia said the move would expand its presence in the region.
