Elemental Adds VP in Hong Kong

Portland-based Elemental Technologies, the provider of video transcoding products and hardware, said today that it has named David Godfrey as its Vice President of Sales in Asia. Godfrey is based in Hong Kong. Elemental said that Godfrey joins from IMaginasia, and also has served at NDS Limited and Tandberg TV. Elemtnal said it has a "rapidly growing" customer based in Asia, including KBS (Korean television network) and Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) in Japan and Sky Racing and Network 10 in Australia.
