Amazon Expands Fulfillment Center Footprint With New Utah Location

Amazon.com is further expanding its network of fulfillment centers, saying it has set up its first site in the state of Utah. Amazon said the fulfillment center will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will create 1,500 full time, hourly jobs. The new center will include 855,000 square feet of space, and Amazon said that employees there will pick, pack, and ship smaller customer items, such as books, electronics and toys.
