Goboz Launches Web 2.0 Local Search Site

Portland, Oregon-based Goboz.com has launched a new, local search site, focused on providing local information on businesses. The hyper-local, Digg-style site was launched late last week with a focus on the Portland area. According to Goboz, the site looks to differentiate itself from other business listing sites by offering a free voting system to allow visitors to vote on businesses, ability for users to add news stories, and also add businesses. The firm's business listings include Web 2.0 features such as tags and ability to comment and review postings. The firm said it plans to go live with a Seattle site in November, and expand througout the West Coast. Goboz.com is operated by The Kastner Group LLC.
