GrapeCity Buys Spreadsheet Software Firm

GrapeCity, a developer of report tools and other software components, said this morning that it is in an acquisition agreement with FarPoint Technologies, which develops spreadsheet software tools. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. GrapeCity said under the terms of the agreement, it will be purchasing all of FarPoint's products and resulting revenues. GrapeCity will continue to develops and support FarPoint's product worldwide. GrapeCity has its U.S. offices in Kirkland, Washington, with headquarters in Japan.
