Ignition Has Busy Day In San Francisco

It's been a busy day for Seattle's Ignition Partners down in Silicon Valley today, as the firm was involved in two, separate funding rounds for companies. Ignition backed Message Bus, a developer of cloud-based messaging APIs as part of an $11M round; and also helped fund Y-Combinator's Referly, which operates a service focused around product recommendations and paying users a cut of affiliate fees generated from those recommendations. The funding for Message Bus included North Bridge Venture Partners, True Ventures, Ignition Partners, James Lindenbaum, Tim Young and Jesse Robbins. The funding round for Referly included New Enterprise Associates, Ignition Partners, 500 Startups, along with a long list of angels. More information »
