InEnTec Gets Strategic Investment

Bend, Oregon-based InEnTec, a developer of renewable energy systems which convert waste into power, said today that it has scored a strategic investment in the firm from Lakeside Energy. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Lakeside Energy is based in Chicago, and is owned by American Securities. The company focuses on power generation and renewable energy technology. InEnTec, which is based on research spun out of MIT and Battelle, develops a process to take solid waste--such as household garbage--and converts that into clean fuels.
