Infinia Hires CFO

Infinia Corp., a manufacturer of solar energy concentrators and converters, reported Monday that it has hired Gregg Clevenger as chief financial officer. Infinia described Clevenger as a financial industry veteran who spent 10 years as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Argent Group Ltd. He also worked for seven years at Mpower Communications, where he was CFO and executive vice president. Headquartered in Kennewick, Wash., Infinia Corp. is a privately held company. Its backers include GLG Partners, Wexford Capital, Vulcan Capital, Khosla Ventures, Idealab, Equus and Power Play Energy. To date, Infinia has raised nearly $60 million through two funding rounds.
