InFocus Acquired For $39M

Wilsonville, Oregon-based InFocus, a developer of digital projectors, said today that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with holding firm Image Holdings Corporation. According to InFocus, the deal calls for its to be acquired for approximately $39M, or $0.95 per share. The firm said the offer is a 36 percent premium over its April 9th closing price. Image Holdings Corporation is owned by eMachines co-founder John Hui. InFocus was advised by Thomas Weisel Partners and Garvey Schubert Barer in the deal.
