Jive Collects Ideas With New Offering

Portland-based Jive Software is looking to help companies collect ideas, with a new part of its social networking software for businesses. According to Jive, its new Jive Ideation product allows its customers to gathering ideas from employees, customers, and partners--so that companies might use it to innovate. Jive said the new software allows community members to create, vote on, and discuss ideas with others within Jive; the ability to organize and prioritize those ideas and share them with others; and help companies monitor those ideas. Pricing on the new product was not disclosed.
