Jive Looks Towards IPO, Hires Bankers

Jive Software, the maker of enterprise social networking tools, is prepping for an IPO, and has hired four investment banking firms to manage the offering, according to Bloomberg. Citing un-named sources close to the firm, Bloomberg said Jive has hired Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and UBS for the offering. Jive, although now based in Silicon Valley, started and still has major operations in Portland.
