Seattle-based voice messaging and transcription service Jott told its users Monday, that it will be shutting its service on May 3rd. The service--now owned by Nuance Communications--said the service will no longer be available, despite admitting that many users have "come to rely" on the service. Jott was acquired in July of 2009 by Nuance Communications. Jott said that it will provide refunds to users with annual and pay-as-you-go plans, and that users will need to export their data before May 3rd.
