Lighter Capital Unveils New $100M Fund, Gets $9M In Equity Funding

Seattle-based Lighter Capital, which provides revenue-based financing to startups and other businesses, has unveiled a new $100M investment fund. The company said the new fund will go towards approximately 500 investments in SaaS, tech services and digital media companies. The new funding came from Community Investment Management (CIM). Lighter Capital -- unlike many investors-- focuses on debt and growth funding, versus equity investments. Lighter Capital said the new $100M fund comes in addition to a $9 million Series B equity financing in the company, from Voyager Capital, Summit Capital, and individual investors.
