LightScribe Boosts Online Sales Channels

LightScribe, a developer of CD and DVD labeling technology, revealed Wednesday that it has expanded its online retail channels in the United States and Europe. The Corvallis, Ore.-based company said the growth was achieved through its CD and DVD media licensees Microboards and PRIMEON. In the United States, discs from Microboards are currently available with eight new online resellers, LightScribe said, while European online retailer Nierle is featuring PRIMEON media. LightScribe added that its software and hardware products are also available at major retailers. LightScribe's products allow consumers to use their CD and DVD burners to create labels directly on a disk.
