LiveStories Lands $10M

Seattle-based LiveStories, a startup which is making it easier for cities, counties, government agencies, and nonprofits to share civic data with the public, has raised $10M in a Series A funding round, which was led by Ignition Partners, and also included True Ventures and Founders Co-Op. LiveStories said it has now raised a total of $13.9M. LiveStories develops a "data hub" where users can find, explore, and present civic data. The company said that so far, its customers include the City of New Orleans, the City of Melbourne, California Health Care Foundation, and San Diego County.
