Lockerz Lands Deal With EMI, Opens Site

Seattle-based Lockerz, the social commerce site backed by Liberty Media, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, and Live Nation, said Wednesday that it has opened up the site to non-members, and also tied in a deal with EMI. In the deal with EMI, Lockerz said that videos from such artists at Coldplay, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Radiohead, Snoop Dogg, and many others at EMI will be available through the site, with members earning points for watching those videos. Terms of that deal were not detailed. Separately, the site said it would start allowing access to the site to non-members, so that they can view the photos, videos, and other content on the site.
