Lockerz Quietly Sold To Chinese Company

Seattle-based Lockerz--now known as Ador--has quietly been acquired by a Chinese company called LightInTheBox. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. LIghtInTheBox sells apparel, electronics, communications devices, and more. LightInTheBox said it would use the buy to esablish a U.S. office for the company. Lockerz dropped off the map last year after extensive layoffs and an executive shakeup. The company had raised over $48M in funding from such companies as DAG Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Live Nation.
