Matcherino Takes $1.5M For Esports Crowdfunding

Seattle-based Matcherino, which operates a service to help gamers crowdfund their own tournaments, has raised $1.5M in funding, the company disclosed last week. The funding came from Madrona Venture Group, Vulcan Capital, and Seven Peak Ventures. Matcherino lets gamers create online, crowdfunded gaming competitions, based on such titles as Rocket League, Starcraft II, Overwatch, and other titles. More information »
