Mentor Graphics Selected by Widex

Wilsonville, Oregon-based EDA software provider Mentor Graphics is supplying it software to hearing aid manufacturer Widex, the firm reported today. Mentor said that Widex is using its analog and mixed signal simulator tools, as part of a design of a wireless chip being used in a digital hearing aid system. Mentor said its tools were used for a wireless chip set with about 500K digital gates. Financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed.
