Mentor Ties With GLOBALFOUNDRIES

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, the developer of EDA software, said today that it has linked with GLOBALFOUNDRIES, tapping technology from the firm to improve IC yields capabilities of its software. Mentor said that it has applied that capability, from GLOBALFOUNDRIES Calibre YieldAnalyer tool, into its Tessent Diagnosis and Tessent YieldInsight products. The technology helps Mentor's customers improve the yields on their semiconductor devices.
