MetroFax Acquired By j2 Global

Bellevue-based MetroFax, a provider of Internet-based faxing services, has been acquired by j2 Global, a provider of Internet FAX and unified communications tools. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to j2 Global, MetroFax was advised by Vista Point Advisors LLC in the sale. j2 Global said the financial impact of the acquisition to the company is not expected to be material. MetroFax had been founded in 1997.
